BMP Announces Partnership With SceneCaster

By combining Blue Marble Project’s unique expertise in developing 3D models of real world products together with SceneCaster’s simple drag-and-drop interface and new Immersiv 3D Viewer, product manufacturers, brand advertisers and retailers can now offer their customers the unique opportunity to visualize, share, and purchase their products in SceneCaster’s 3D immersive scenes or “virtual showrooms”.  This partnership provides companies with an easy and affordable way to create and promote their 3D content on both their own Web sites and on SceneCaster.com.

Sustainable Industries - 2008 Top Ten Green Products In 3D

Sustainable Industries has released their annual supplemental issue - 2008 Top 10 Green Products. Blue Marble Project is proud to have played a role in the creation of this year’s issue by supplying Sustainable Industries with the 3D computer models that were embedded in the downloadable PDF version of the issue. The 3D SketchUp models can also be downloaded from the Google 3D Warehouse.

BMP in Attendance at 2008 Google 3D Basecamp

Google invited Mike Tadros and Alex Oliver to deliver a presentation at the 2008 Google SketchUp 3D Basecamp. The topic was titled ‘Promoting Your Work Using Google Resources.’ The presentation included information about the Google 3D Warehouse, Google SketchUp, and Google Earth. New Collection Available: re:Source Case Studies

This new collection includes 3D models of Case Study Projects that were created for re:Source - an online community dedicated to providing reliable information about sustainable design and sustainable construction. The re:Source website features a series of videos that include case studies of Green projects. Blue Marble built 3D models, which re:Source then used to create motion graphics for the videos that illustrate key sustainable features of the projects. The 3D models are also available for download from the 3D Warehouse in SketchUp format. 

BMP in Attendance at the International Builders Show (IBS)

The Blue Marble Project has been asked by Whirlpool, Velux, and the PATH House Committee to conduct technology demonstrations to thousands of builders and show attendees. Blue Marble Staff will be on hand during the IBS Show at a number of events and locations to educate attendees and answer questions about CAD Software applications. IBS is taking place in Orlando, FL from Feb 13th through the 16th, 2008.

Velux Launches collection of 3D Models of Skylights at IBS 2008

BMP was contracted by Velux America to translate their catalog of stunning skylights into a collection of digital 3D models. Architects and designers are now able to download the skylights for free from the Velux collection available on the Google 3D Warehouse.

Well now you can plan those kind of details a little easier by visiting the 3D Shopping Centers in California that we’ve modeled for Westfield, Corp. The Shopping Centers are available for download in SketchUp format from the Google 3D Warehouse, or you can view the models in Google Earth.
