A big congratulations to all of the modelers and photographers putting Los Angeles on the map!
Wouldn’t it be nice to know where to park if you wanted to shop at Macy’s? Well now you can plan those kind of details a little easier by visiting the 3D Shopping Centers in California that we’ve modeled for Westfield, Corp. The Shopping Centers are available for download in SketchUp format from the Google 3D Warehouse, or you can view the models in Google Earth.
Ever been frustrated trying to find the hotel you are looking for? If pictures speak a thousand words, then we’re hoping our 3D models of selected Marriott Hotels speak a million.
Timbron hired us to create a digital catalog of their molding products and make those files available for download on the Google 3D Warehouse. The new Collection of SketchUp models was made available just in time for Timbron to present the 3D files to guests who visited their booth at the GreenBuild ‘07 Conference and Expo which was held recently in Chicago, IL. We were pleased to have had the opportunity to work with such an innovative company and are proud to have helped raise awareness about such a great product.
We first found out about Liberty Valley Doors when we stumbled across their booth at the West Coast Green Expo back in September. With the Green Build Conference coming up around the corner, and in an effort to further the work we’ve done with our ‘Top 10 Green’ collections Liberty Valley Doors was the perfect company to work with. Their beautiful product line of doors that are manufactured using FSC, recycled and salvaged woods make for a stunning collection of textured SketchUp models.
What… You’ve never heard of Hagerstown? One of our offices sits on Main Street, so we couldn’t help but start modeling our surroundings.
Continuing an effort to supply the highest quality information about sustainable products, Sustainable Industries has agreed to partner with the Blue Marble Project to provide copy for product information listed in the “Top 10 Green“ collection. The models are being gathered by BMP to draw attention to sustainable products and places contained in the 3D Warehouse.
We are thankful to have been invited to this year’s West Coast Green Conference and Expo which will be held in San Francisco, CA between Sept 20-22 at the Bill Graham Civic Center Auditorium. BMP staff will be in attendance giving demonstrations at the Whirlpool booth down on the main show floor presenting a series of demonstrations about using SketchUp for Kitchen Design. We’ll also be at the Google Workshop located on the 3rd floor of the conference center to demonstrate the process of creating and uploading models to the Google 3D Warehouse - a great way to let people find out about your company’s green products.
Furthering our commitment to sustainable design and build, we’re announcing the creation of the “Top 10 Green“ collection on the Google 3D Warehouse. Our team modeled several “green” products, places and things, uploaded them to the Top 10 Green collection, and gathered other related content - all in an effort to provide a useful resource to designers focused on sustainability.
The Blue Marble Project is a worldwide effort. One of our teams working in Harare has been spearheading the effort to re-create the city on Google Earth.
