Wouldn’t it be nice to know where to park if you wanted to shop at Macy’s? Well now you can plan those kind of details a little easier by visiting the 3D Shopping Centers in California that we’ve modeled for Westfield, Corp. The Shopping Centers are available for download in SketchUp format from the Google 3D Warehouse, or you can view the models in Google Earth.

Timbron hired us to create a digital catalog of their molding products and make those files available for download on the Google 3D Warehouse. The new Collection of SketchUp models was made available just in time for Timbron to present the 3D files to guests who visited their booth at the GreenBuild ‘07 Conference and Expo which was held recently in Chicago, IL. We were pleased to have had the opportunity to work with such an innovative company and are proud to have helped raise awareness about such a great product.

We first found out about Liberty Valley Doors when we stumbled across their booth at the West Coast Green Expo back in September. With the Green Build Conference coming up around the corner, and in an effort to further the work we’ve done with our ‘Top 10 Green’ collections Liberty Valley Doors was the perfect company to work with. Their beautiful product line of doors that are manufactured using FSC, recycled and salvaged woods make for a stunning collection of textured SketchUp models.

We are thankful to have been invited to this year’s West Coast Green Conference and Expo which will be held in San Francisco, CA between Sept 20-22 at the Bill Graham Civic Center Auditorium. BMP staff will be in attendance giving demonstrations at the Whirlpool booth down on the main show floor presenting a series of demonstrations about using SketchUp for Kitchen Design. We’ll also be at the Google Workshop located on the 3rd floor of the conference center to demonstrate the process of creating and uploading models to the Google 3D Warehouse - a great way to let people find out about your company’s green products.

We were pleased that Google selected our collection for San Francisco, a city near and dear to their hearts. Considering San Francisco is located just a few minutes drive north of the Google headquarters - something tells us we’ll be watched closely…

ESPN used the Blue Marble Project’s 3D model of the
Home Depot Center during a recent broadcast of Major League Soccer. The graphics shown during David Beckham’s first home game for the Los Angeles Galaxy featured the Home Depot center on Google Earth.
NEW YORK — David Beckham’s brief appearance in his first game with the Los Angeles Galaxy was enough to draw a record ESPN audience for a game involving a Major League Soccer team. Saturday night’s exhibition match between the Galaxy and Chelsea on ESPN earned a 1.0 rating and was watched by about 1,468,000 people. MLS’ debut game between D.C. United and the San Jose Clash in 1996 also drew a 1.0 rating. It was watched by about 1,092,000 people.

We’ve released a sample catalog on the Google 3D Warehouse that we created for Kohler Bath products. Thanks to the kind folks at Kohler for your hospitality during our visit. For all you interior designers and NKBA folks out there, if you’ve never made the trip out to the Kohler campus in WI - it’s definitely worth the trip! What a beautiful town, and what an amazing showroom. Oh, and make sure and bring your golf clubs (something we’ll have to remember to do next time).
